Sounds like the kids had a great day! That's one thing that I like about middle school is that the kids still to do those kind of things. It seems that when they hit high school it becomes childish. Although, I did play "pin the nose on the jack o' lantern" with two of my classes and most kids seemed to enjoy it!
Jim, can you hear it well from your end? I can't hear it very well for some reason. Matt were you able to hear it? Sounds like a fun day! Another fun exercise is chair writing.. So everyone starts off with the same topic, like "There was a loud noise, and then silence...." The kids then go around moving from chair to chair completing the story sentence by sentence. They leave their initials so you know who wrote what on each computers!
